Our Tummies Were Upset After Seeing The Color of This Dress

"[The dress was] Pepto-Bismol-pink that faded into Sunkist-orange, faded back into Pepto-Bismol pink," writes Holly, a bridesmaid out of Baton Rouge, La. But the color wasn't even the worst thing about it: "[There was a] pink satin layer covered by a see-through sheer layer with sparkles." And then there was the style: "Strapless, open-back, with strings laced down the back. Oh, and shaped like a mermaid -- flares out from the knees down." But the dress proved to be an essential fall item. "[For] Halloween, [I] cut the dress off above the knees in a jagged-edge, bought white wings from the Halloween store and pink flip-flops. Won the Halloween contest as the best fairy!".

If you don't have a florist do your flowers and wind up buying them at the grocery store, you might want to trim the stems first so they don't look so ridiculous.

the problem isnt in the color of the bridesmaids dresses...it is in the length of the stems on the flowers...tacky

it sounds as if you should have declined when asked to be a bridesmaid...your comments are not very loving and i'm glad you aren't one of my friends.

It is the brides day so she has the choice of what she wants everyone to wear. If that is her choice then everyone should respect her choice.

This dress reminded me of that other pepto-bismol distaster. Pepto-bismol pink in a wedding party, I say, is never a good idea, because it kinda reminds me of one of their advertisement for stomach trouble! (LMAO)
