We Prevent A Sequined Disaster!
May 17, 2007

"I was going to pick these dress. I forced all my bridesmaids to try them on," explains Mary, a Newport, R.I., bride whose nuptials are this coming December. "I am having a Christmas wedding and these actually came in red." But before she turned her bridesmaids into be-spangled Grinches, she stumbled upon PEOPLE.com's blog! "I saw your site and had a reality check! I think my bridesmaids will be grateful in the end." For your good deed, Mary, Santa will not be putting coal in your stocking this year!

This dress is the worst thing in the world.... i cannot believe you even made them try this on. yet this is absoutely hilarious... Mary you are evil yet funny. I can't believe anyone would even make a dress like this, where on earth are you SUPPOSED to wear that dress too

You would do that to your friends? What did they ever do to you? What does the winning dress look like? You couldn't get much worse than that sequined nighmare. If I had to wear that for a wedding I wouldn't even bother getting a nice gift for the bride and groom.

Oh, that was a VERY good move......that would be a very mean thing to do to your bridesmaids. Those dresses are just awful !!!

Is it just me or does this dress look like a tribute to Little Mermaid??? I am getting married soon and I have been looking at dresses for myself and my bridesmaid...never in a million years would this be my choice!!
