The Bride Just Wanted To Have Fun
If you thought this was a prom photo from 1987, then you've just made the bride very happy. "My best mate got married last year," writes in Kristy. "She told all of her bridesmaid that she wanted an '80s-themed wedding. She made us all wear different style bridesmaids' dress as well as a different colors." But the outcome wasn't rad, fresh or bodacious. "It was horrible! You may wonder where someone might find four '80s bridesmaids' dresses," says the Woodland Hills, California. native. "Just try your local thrift store. That is what she did."

not my cup of tea, but what if the bride has an 80's fetish...
the 3 maids look like some type of candies in those shiny colors :-)

I'm not sure I understand why a bride would do that to herself, her husband, their families and friends. In defense of all brides who look back and say "Ew, what was I thinking making my bridesmaids wear that ugly dress?!!?", they probably thought at the time that they were nice dresses. Why would you purposely choose ugly dresses and make your friends dress up in them for what is supposed to be a very important day? Maybe I'm just not seeing the humor in this, but I wouldn't want photographic evidence that I made my friends wear those dresses.

At least have them match! The colors are horrid! I would drop out of the wedding!

Oh wow, I remember being in middle school during this time and I wore a dress similar the blue at my beauty pageant/prom. The lady in the green dress even got the hair right! I am all for having fun at your own wedding....I mean it is your day......but the tacky 80's theme looks more like a Halloween or Mardi Gras party than a special day. They even got the colors right.......MOONPIE!
