Little Wedding on the Prairie?
April 20, 2007
For her 1978 wedding, Teri opted for a country-style print — something Laura Ingalls would wear! But looking back now, the Elk River, Minnesota bride admits she's "not sure what I was thinking. That was the style then right?" Based on some of the other bad 1970's gowns coming in, we can safely tell Teri that she's off the hook.
But you tell us: Which is worse? Bridesmaids dresses from the 1980s or 1970s?

This dress looks more like those huge flannel pajama dresses my grandma wears! Those nightgowns drove me nuts when she wore them in the house where no one could see her......let alone at a wedding....then on the internet! Bless your heart!

Is this a wedding picture, or did someone get a postcard from a cult?

I say that 1970's bridesmaid dresses is DEFINITELY worse than 1980's! The prints and the detailings make me vomit! I would NEVER wear one of these stupid dresses.

Oh I like this! I mean for the time it was (70's)! I would never advise it now, but hey its fun to look back on old pics. and see how fashion has changed. Do we really want to look back in 20 years and be wearing the same thing.. how boring!
