Attention Fashion Police! Before you arrest this bride for her fashion crimes, take note: The victims were her accomplices! "My best friend and sister assisted in figuring out how to utilize my favorite color, orange in my wedding scheme," admits Linda. "After much thought we opted for a unique design with a 'very cool' velvet hooded robe and a one-piece 'very hip' pantsuit which would surely be wore again and again as wild party pajamas." Although the getup was cool for her 1971 wedding, Linda admits, "Looking back over 35 years later... what were we thinking??"

The 70s styles were awful from the never-wear-out fabrics to the awful HUGE patterns. Makes me wonder if we all were on an acid trip! LOL

I forgot how ugly clothes were in the '70s until I saw this
photo. I guess it could be worse---they could be wearing
polyester "leisure suits."

It may be a bit out of the ordinary, but I would wear it if it were some other color than orange. I especially like the hood. Actually, for 1971, it was quite the imaginative choice.
