Brides, Don't Forget! Your Maids Come In All Shapes In Sizes!
April 16, 2007

Here's something that we can relate to: The bride picks out a dress that she thinks looks good, but guess what, it doesn't look good on EVERYBODY! "I Look like I belong to the seaweed in the ocean!" laments Jennifer, about this photo.
Hey, on the bright side: Your shoes are cute!

i'm going to go out on a limb here and say that i don't even think this dress would look good on a size 4. and the shoes aren't cute with that dress.

i've been there! my friend got married and picked out a gorgeous bridesmaid dress for us to wear. well, it looked fantastic on her size four sister. unfortunately, the other bridesmaids, including me, wore sizes 10, 14, and 16. needless to say, despite many alterations and corsets, they still never looked good on the rest of us!

Grace-you have no right to say that some girls should not accept to be a bridesmaid. The bride should have picked a better dress and have thought about her bridesmaid. This woman was wonderful in wearing the dress for her friend. People come in all shapes and sizes. I for one am a big girl, and my best friend, and sisters would have never have excluded me because of my size. They considered my shape and we worked accordingly. Too bad nobody considered this girl.

the shoes aren't that cute either because she can't fit them and not all white shoes go wit everything and sorry to say but she looks like a baby blue clam to me

OMG you're at a David's Bridal. We keep telling our brides that they have to consider shapes and sizes but do they listen? NO! And here's proof!

This one proves that a girl should never accept an invitation to be a bridesmaid.

I think itwould have looked better on another body type. Bride wasn't that fashion savvy...

I think everything is horrible... from the color of the dress all the way to the shoes.... they look like they're too big on her.... everything is just wrong!!
Heather | Apr 18, 2007 10:39:14 AM
the shoes r u cute better in pink if they were!

I think only ugly brides have ugly bridesmaid dresses. ANYTHING TO MAKE THEM (the bride) LOOK AS GOOD AS POSSIBLE!

It's a lovely dress, it it quite revealing and is not appropriate for all body types. I love the beading, the color and the flow. I don't think it would count as an ugly bridesmaid dress. I like the dress, it just isn't the right dress for that person.

there is no way that this dress should have even been on a hanger in the store.... noone should wear this I dont care what kinda body you have...the color...no way...the style...no way...yuck...
Hailey | Apr 17, 2007 6:22:40 AM
I feel so bad for her, from what I can see of her face she looks sooo ecstatic to be wearing that...I know the feeling though, when you go and find something at the store then you try it on and your like "Woah!! Get this thing off me" because you can't stand even looking at yourself in it in the mirror.... Funny, kinda, degrading, definetly.

not a bad dress...just not flattering on everyones body type.
